Written choreography, improvisations and "danced poems" (inspired by rené Char) are intertwined with a rich musical "playlist" composed of works by Sciarrino, Schoenberg, Ligeti and Cage — and some texts by Michel Foucault spoken with the Vocoder. Foucault: "In any case, one thing is certain: that the human body is the principal actor in all utopias. After all, isn't one of the oldest utopias about which men have told themselves stories the dream of an immense and inordinate body that could devour space and master the world?" The praise of the "inordinate", here, does not prevent Ecce from welcoming the public in a show on a human scale, inhabited by the pure joy of dancing.
