A spoken word evening, curated with Myriam Van Imschoot
[ARK] harbors a community of performers that through various forms of phrasing expose norms of language, bend or break them. They play with limits of screens, pages and word of mouth. From vocal and speech-driven performance to graphic and conceptual contributions the program hails a richness of sound-text-compositions as they spring on the tangents of music, poetry, music and vernacular forms.
The performers have various affiliations with the ongoing series Volume SP which brings sound poetry into focus in the online project space of Oral Site
