A CLOSE ENCOUNTER WITH APERGHIS, LUCIER AND RADULESCU
A CLOSE ENCOUNTER WITH APERGHIS, LUCIER AND RADULESCU

ICTUS INVITES, the return!
In the Rosas Performance Space, on our shared site on Avenue Van Volxem, a new generation of musicians will take on three great names of modernity and reinvent them in their own way.
Horatio Radulescu: the spectral in its purest form.
Alvin Lucier: master of psychoacoustics.
And lastly Georges Aperghis — as always, but why?
Because Aperghis’s works are always an invitation for musicians to make the score their own, to play with it, build on it, to take the stage in their own way. If it is true, as Jacques Rancière argued, that the only intelligence is that which is shared with others, then Aperghis is the most intelligent of us all!
